““Chocolate or a good man can instigate your heart’s surrender, but full-bodied pleasure and overflowing love—opening until you are exposed fully to God as love’s bliss—is the only way to live true to your deepest desire, with or without a trustable lover or a tasty dessert.”― David Deida
WEEK SIX: RECEIVING + BEING GENEROUS WITH POINTS
INTENTION
The practice of receiving is a life-long one; we will explore how The Queen’s Code has given us more space to receive as well as how generous we are with “the points.” The intention for this week is to open yourself up to receiving from a man in a new, brave, and vulnerable way; thus increasing your capacity to receive. When we have a bigger capacity to receive the masculine has space to provide; think first your inner masculine, then all mortal men, and ultimately the Divine Masculine.
daily practice for this week:
Opening - There are a million ways you can practice “opening.” Think of this practice in three realms: mind, body and spirit. How might you open your mind this week? How might you open your physical body this week? How might you open your spirit this week? To “open” means to increase your capacity, to widen, to create space, to create opportunity, to create a doorway/pathway… The practice of opening is a practice of receiving; in three parts. First we create the opening, then we expand our capacity to receive, and then we receive.
BONUS: I challenge you to consider opening your mind to something that you don’t know, I challenge you to open your body to something new, I challenge you to open your spirit in a new way.
where will you place your devotion this week?
“There is no journey of the Feminine without devotion.” Each week I will be asking you to share where you will be placing your devotion for the week. You have three choices: Your Higher Self, on God/The Divine (as you call it), or on The Masculine.
felt sense for the week:
Each week we will focus our attention on the practice of allowing ourselves to be felt. For many of us this practice includes learning to articulate how we feel in any given moment, and learning to trust our bodies to tell us how we feel, and having the courage to take action (mas)/or move (fem) from here. The very first step to this forever practice is allowing ourselves to FEEL, so that we can feel it and trust it for ourselves. Be prepared to enter our circle this week by sharing how you are arriving, in a felt sense.
This week I invite you to FEEL: Open, Capacity, Receiving, Vulnerable, Gratitude, Love
altar + tools:
Each week I will be inviting you to consider the ways you incorporate the Feminine element of “the sacred” into your life; this is completely, uniquely YOUR way. I will be sharing things each week to inspire you, please find your own ways to deepen in here and I hope that you will share these during our journey so that we may be inspired by you and your practices.
This week I invite you to BE CURIOUS ABOUT:
Your idea of “an altar” and if you feel inspired, please create an altar that will represent this full journey. If you already have an altar, please consider placing something on it that represents your focus for this week.
Consider the “tools” you have to practice and/or to add “the sacred” into your life: candles, rituals, ceremonies, oils, prayers, affirmations, tinctures, cards, crystals… (If this is something you need guidance with please let me know and we can muse together on our Friday call.)
questions for contemplation + discussion
Be prepared to share what “points” are available to be given or earned by you; be specific.
On a scale of 1-5 (5 being fully open) how is your practice of receiving today?
Describe how it feels to receive from a woman; how is this different than receiving from a man?
Be prepared to share one way in which you received this week from a man in your life.
Is there anything/or any place in your life where receiving from a man is off-limits? Explain.
What personal practice do you have that helps you to be a better receiver?
Tell us about the points you’ve given to men in your life this week; be detailed in your story.
